unafraid's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sam Shitty What a bunch of BS!!!! i just came back from a meeting at work (Sam Goody). Best Buy bought us and now we have a bunch of stupid rules and regulations and procedures and all this other retarded stuff that we didn't have to deal with before. they're treating us like a pre-school class, basically. we have to fill out all these forms when customers purchase certain items now and they give us words and formulas to remember policies and stuff. it's really stupid. matt and rachael are both quitting now. i WANT to quit, but i don't want to put Justin (my manager) through the trouble of hiring 3 new people at once. so i'm stuck in this shitty job that doesn't even pay well. UGH the stress! maybe i'll get used to it? i don't know...i don't want to work there anymore. i don't want to have to deal with the retarded, mean district managers or fill out those stupid forms or have scheduled breaks or have to ask customer if they want to sign up for 8 free weeks of Entertainment Weekly everytime they use their damn credit card!!! i'm sick of it. but i'm sticking with it, i guess. still hoping that this will help me get in the music biz. it's getting me a little closer...although i don't think i'll be able to rely on scott for helping me out with that. i don't really want much to do with him anymore. i wish i could get a job as an Edge intern or something. but i have to be in college and it would be a HELL of a drive to get to the Edge studios all the time. i don't know what to do. i don't know what my options are. well, i could quit or i could stay and let those Best Buy nazi's take over. who knows. i just wanted to vent about how much i'm about to start hating my job. 9:51 a.m. - June 28, 2001 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
