unafraid's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- and everyone was laughing as i hit the floor... So today is the big day. i get to meet Tabin. finally. =) i'm soo excited. not only am i getting to meet a really good friend but i'm also getting to see Seattle which is also very cool!! =) tabin is supposedly making me a sign for when i get to the airport. i'm sure it'll say something to make me crack up and be embarrassed. =) but that's tabin. everyone's been telling me today "see you when you get back! have fun in seattle!" which is really kinda cool because i think to myself "wow. we're really doing this. we set our minds to me going to see her and it's happening. i can't wait. i'm also excited about the plane ride. i love flying. but i've never flown by myself before so i hope that goes ok. i'm sure i'll be listening to kara langer and my new chapter 29 cd i got today. well, i had a burned copy, but i wanted the real thing so i special ordered it at work about a week ago. it came in perfect timing. but about kara langer... this is my new project. The Kara Langer Project, i'm calling it. i was doing a search for any song called "don't go" because i was sort of depressed and i always try to find the most depressing songs when i am. so anyway, "Don't Go" by Kara Langer came up and i decided to click on the link they gave me and her mp3 page came up. but i didn't listen to 'don't go' first. i listened to "To See You Again". what a beautiful song! this girl is 17 and she has a great voice and she can play the piano and she has an awesome songwriting ability! check her out at mp3.com/karalanger. she's awesome. so then i told my friend matt about her. he totally fell in love with her too. so the next day at work we came up with all these awesome ideas to promote her! she lives in orlando, fl and most of her fans are friends and family. this girl has talent and needs to be spread! we even tried to call her by calling information. but no luck. so i just decided to email her. and i started a yahoo club for her. so hopefully we're getting somewhere. =) The Kara Langer Project. =) anyway, anyone reading this should really check her out. she's like alternative/pop/jazz all in one. very cool. more later on that. well, i'm off to go find something to keep me busy until i go to the airport. i can't wait!! i just hope i don't have jiten withdrawl too much. haha =) 5:14 p.m. - July 19, 2001 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
