unafraid's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- what have i gotten myself into?! so tonight was...fun...? i'm sort of confused right now. i went out with this guy that i met at a Don Pablo's on New Year's Eve. he was a waiter and pretty hot. anyway, he showed some interest so i gave him my # just for kicks. anyway he called me tonight and said that him and some friends were going to a movie and wanted to know if i wanted to come along. so i thought to myself, "Self, you just need to get out of the house and have some fun with complete strangers for once. let loose." so i said "sure." he told me how to get to his friends apt. and i showed up. we hung out there for a while and some more people showed up and we went to the movie. "The Royal Tenebaums" was the movie. pretty damn funny! directed (or written by - can't remember) by the same guy that did Rushmore. anyway, after that me and this guy (Jay) went to Whataburger and talked and stuff. apparently, we have a lot in common. he's easy to talk to and he makes me laugh. plus, he's into some really good music. =) so we hit it off well. then we go back to his friend's apt. and i watch them all play football on like a playstation or something. then he just got sort of physical and it...escalated. the point is, i don't trust him. he's nice and cute and smooth and has great fashion sense (ha!) and i think i kinda like him...but i just don't trust him and it scared me. i mean, sure i went along with everything...but i didn't know if i really wanted to or not. i sort of did and at the same time - didn't. anyway, he's supposed to call me tomorrow night and we'll be getting together but i don't know if i'll answer my cell phone or not. i'm kind of scared and i'm not exactly sure why. anyway, i just got home about 20 minutes ago and i need sleep for work tomorrow. i'll keep you posted on the Jay Situation as it progresses. or doesn't progress. we'll see. 4:50 am - Jan. 07, 2002 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
