unafraid's Diaryland Diary

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i miss the innocense i've known...

so after about a total of 2 days and 5 or 6 hours of downloading, i finally got all of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot - Wilco's new unreleased album. i love it. unfortunately, the version i downloaded is all on 1 track so i can't skip around in the songs, but still, it's worth it. it's a little closer to Summer Teeth than anything else, but that's good because Summer Teeth is my favorite Wilco album.

After school yesterday i went over to Joy's apartment. she lives out in dallas, so of course i got lost on the way there and it took about an hour and a half. see, i was dumb and thought i knew a different route to get there that would be much easier for me...but i was wrong. i still took a way different from Joy's and got there, but it wasn't quite the way i had expected. it's okay though. i got there all in one piece. We went out to dinner with Maria and Jennifer (both work for Sam Goody also) and then came home to watch Don't Say a Word with Jennifer and Joy. we were going to go to the hot tub, but by the time the movie was over, the hot tub was closed for the night. so i eventually just went home.

now i've got about 20 minutes until i have to leave for my second day of work at the Parks. my first day working with vic. hopefully, i made a good impression with my numbers, we'll see.

gawd, this is an extremely boring entry. if you're still reading this, i apologize. =) anyway, something exciting: Ryan Adams is coming to Grand Prarie to open up for Alanis Morissette and hopefully i can go through one of Ryan's label reps to get free tickets to the show and possibly even go to a Meet & Greet. then, surely, i could die happy. =)
